Indledningsbøn
Opening prayer
1. Almagts Gud, velsignet vær!
Love vil vi lydt din ære,
dig ophøje fjern og nær,
synge med blandt engles hære,
bøje os i støvet ned
for vor konges herlighed.
2. Offerlam med korsets stav,
skyldfri dybt i pinen sænket,
du besejred død og grav
ved den kraft, som Gud dig skænked;
Helveds vælde, dødens magt
knust du har i støvet lagt.
3. Lad dit rige allen sted
vidt udgå med fred i følge
nu og i al evighed!
Lad på land, og lad på bølge
alles knæ til evig gavn
bøje sig i Jesu navn!
4. Helligånd, dig lov og pris
sammen med Gud Fader være
og med Jesus, stærk og vís,
brudgom vor og broder kære!
Over os hans kærlighed
evig, evig vare ved!
1. Holy God, we praise Thy name;
Lord of all, we bow before Thee!
All on earth Thy scepter claim,
All in Heaven above adore Thee;
Infinite Thy vast domain,
Everlasting is Thy reign.
2. Thou art King of glory, Christ:
Son of God, yet born of Mary;
For us sinners sacrificed,
And to death a tributary:
First to break the bars of death,
Thou has opened Heaven to faith.
3. Therefore do we pray Thee, Lord:
Help Thy servants whom, redeeming
By Thy precious blood out-poured,
Thou hast saved from Satan’s scheming.
Give to them eternal rest
In the glory of the blest.
4. Holy Father, Holy Son,
Holy Spirit, Three we name Thee;
While in essence only One,
Undivided God we claim Thee;
And adoring bend the knee,
While we own the mystery
Esajas 60,1-22
Isaiah 60,1-22
1. Min fremtidsdag er lys og lang,
den når ud over tidens tvang,
hvor Gud og Lammet klart jeg ser,
og ingen nød skal være mer.
2. En arv, som ej kan visne hen,
til mig er gemt i Himmelen,
og under prøvetiden her
Gud giver, hvad mig gavnligt er.
3. Pris være Gud, som gør det så,
at ængstelig jeg ej skal gå.
Han altid sørge vil for mig,
hvad end mig møder på min vej.
4. Så har jeg hvile i min sjæl
og synger glad: Nu alt er vel!
Ved Herrens hånd jeg vandre kan,
han leder trygt til livets land.
5. Men, Herre Jesus, lær du mig
at leve mere helt for dig
den korte tid, jeg har igen,
før jeg når hjem til Himmelen!
1. I have a future all sublime,
Beyond the realms of space and time,
Where my Redeemer I shall see,
And sorrow nevermore shall be.
2. A precious heritage is mine;
’Tis kept above by love divine;
And while I tarry here below,
He gives me what is best, I know.
3. O, God be praised, He planned for me;
From anxious care I’m spared and free;
He bids me cast on Him my care—
What then remains for me to bear?
4. Sweet peace within my soul doth dwell;
With joy I sing: Now all is well,
He leads me safely by His hand
Until I reach the Glory Land.
5. O precious Savior, teach Thou me
To live my life more true to Thee
The little while I yet must roam
Before I reach my heav’nly home
Hebr. 10,1-18

obedience to the gospel escape the wrath due for their
sins?
Answer: Not all who outwardly profess obedience to the
gospel, but only those who persevere in faith and
holiness to the end shall be saved.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the
kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my
Father who is in heaven.

1. What a Friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.
2. Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
3. Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge,
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you;
you will find a solace there.
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus’ name.
Refrain
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
2. When darkness seems to hide His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
Refrain
3. His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Refrain
4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh may I then in Him be found.
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

Afslutningsbøn og velsignelsen
Closing prayer and benediction
1. All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
:/: For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well; :/:
2. All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
:/: Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see :/:
3. All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
:/: This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way :/:
